PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Rebecca joined Cummins Law in 2021 as a law clerk and immediately became involved in the firm’s corporate and business litigation practices as well as working with startup businesses and entrepreneurs.

Since joining the firm as an Associate in 2022, Rebecca has successfully argued before the First District Court of Appeals, upholding the trial court’s order declaring a litigant to be a vexatious litigator. Rebecca has also been a part of complex litigation involving financial crimes and was influential in defeating critical case Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Dismiss. Rebecca was selected as a 2027 Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star, a designation honoring the top 2.5% of early-career attorneys.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law with a J.D. in 2022. At the College of Law, she had the honor of working with the Ohio Innocence Project and helped in the successful effort to free the Project’s 37th client after he wrongfully served 20 years in prison. During her time at UC, Rebecca served as a student ambassador for the College of Law and was an active member of UC Law Women.

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton in 2019 where she double majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice and minored in Human Rights.
